Reducing Halogenated Flame Retardants and Bisphenol-A Exposure in a HealthCare Setting
Reviewed Kaiser Permanente’s purchases in building materials, furniture and patient care equipment to evaluate likely exposures from halogenated flame retardants and bisphenol-A. Developed recommendations for KP’s National Facilities Services on purchasing criteria to limit current and future exposure of patients, employees and the environment.
