
Dr. Ann Blake of EPHC presented on green chemistry metrics, market barriers, and linking green chemistry to carbon drawdown and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Vienna, Austria on November 5, 2018. The presentation was part of a green chemistry conference hosted by the Austrian Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism as part of Austria’s duties as President of the Council of the European Union. Conference presentations included presentations from the European Environment Agency, the European Chemicals Agency, father of green chemistry John Warner, and chemists working on greener solvents, lignocellulosic feedstocks, catalysis, and carbon dioxide chemistry.
